Job summary

Hip Hing Construction Company Limited is seeking a qualified construction professional to monitor and implement architecture-related Quality Plans, control documents and drawings, and coordinate master programmes and shop drawings with architects, engineers, and sub-contractors. You will also monitor site progress and prepare progress reports and final inspections.

The role requires a degree in Building/Construction Engineering and Management, at least 3 years of relevant experience, knowledge

Qualifications

• Degree in Building / Construction Engineering and Management is required.
• 3 years of relevant working experience in building construction.
• Familiar with statutory/license requirements (e.g., BFA, CoP Fire Safety in Buildings).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, advise, and implement Quality Plans in architectural aspects.

• Coordinate with sub-contractors for preparation of shop drawings and method statements.
• Coordinate, identify and resolve potential architectural design issues and interfacing details with different trades.
• Monitor site progress and coordinate with Site Agent for work sequences and material on site.
• Preparation of progress report and submission schedules.
• Familiar with statutory / license requirements, e.g. BFA, CoP Fire Safety in Buildings.
• Coordinate and meeting with client, architect, consultants for final inspection and as-built drawing submission.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building / Construction Engineering and Management or equivalent.
• 3 years relevant working experience in Building Construction Industry.
• Familiar with statutory / license requirements, e.g. BFA, CoP Fire Safety in Buildings.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiar with MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese.
