Job summary

JFE Consulting Limited is seeking a Production Support Engineer / Business Analyst (Bank FX) to keep trading systems up and running and to support Front Office software in Global Financial Markets.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Computer Science or IT, with 3 years of BA or related experience, and solid knowledge of Structured Products and FX. You will gather requirements, map workflows, and work in Agile/Scrum using Jira and Confluence.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with 3 years of experience as a BA or in a similar technology/business role.
• Strong understanding of Structured Products and FX financial instruments. Prior banking operations or general financial services experience is preferred.
• Sharp analytical skills with a track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
• Hands-on experience gathering business requirements, creating workflow/process maps, data modeling, working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, and using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Keep Trading Systems Running: Provide daily support for Global Financial Markets (GFM) and Front Office software so systems stay reliable and user issues are fixed quickly.
• Fix Critical Incidents: Handle and resolve system outages or glitches affecting trading activities, collaborating directly with traders and technical teams to restore service fast.
• Monitor & Improve Performance: Keep track of system health, fix slow performance bottlenecks, and set up automated alerts and recovery tools to catch issues before they cause problems.
• Automate Manual Tasks: Reduce repetitive manual work by creating automated scripts and tools to make operations faster and more efficient.
• Team Up & Keep Improving: Work with developers on software releases and updates, share technical knowledge across teams, participate in on-call shifts, and deliver strong customer service.

Core BA & Agile Tools: Hands-on experience gathering business requirements, creating workflow/process maps, data modeling, working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, and using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
