Job summary

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to support the day-to-day production operations and operational readiness of a next-generation Stablecoin and Digital Assets Platform.

This is a production-facing role focused on incident management, operational monitoring, process execution and coordination across business and technology teams. The successful candidate will combine strong production support experience with a good understanding of business processes and the operational impact of incidents.

The role requires someone who can manage production incidents calmly and rigorously, follow established operational procedures, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and coordinate effectively with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, Risk and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Own day-to-day production support activities across platform environments.
• Monitor platform availability, performance, and operational health.
• Investigate and troubleshoot production issues across application, infrastructure, third-party services, and blockchain components.
• Coordinate incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Assess the business and operational impact of production incidents and prioritize the response accordingly.
• Follow established incident, escalation, communication, and operational procedures rigorously.
• Act as the coordination point between business users, operations teams, and technical teams during production incidents.

Observability & Reliability

• Design and enhance platform observability, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
• Implement centralized dashboards, logging, and operational visibility across platform components.
• Improve incident detection, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis through effective use of logs, metrics, and telemetry.
• Identify reliability risks and drive improvements in platform resilience and operational maturity.

Infrastructure & Platform Operations

• Support cloud infrastructure and production environments.
• Support deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve operational stability and release quality.
• Assist in diagnosing infrastructure and performance-related issues.

Security, Compliance & Stakeholder Coordination

• Support operational controls required for a regulated financial platform.
• Participate in security reviews, audits, disaster recovery exercises, and operational readiness activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and external technology providers.
• Provide clear operational reporting and incident updates to stakeholders.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, TechOps, Production Support, Application Support, or similar production-facing roles.
• Strong experience supporting business-critical production systems and managing live production incidents.
• Experience following structured incident, escalation, change, and operational support processes.
• Ability to assess the business impact of incidents and communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong coordination, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to investigate issues, interpret logs and monitoring information, and work effectively with engineering and infrastructure teams.
• Experience working in banking, trading, financial services, fintech, payments, digital assets, or other regulated environments.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with the following technologies is beneficial, but the primary emphasis is on production operations, incident management, process discipline, and business understanding.
• Experience supporting blockchain, digital asset, stablecoin, payment, or fintech platforms.
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, Splunk, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Experience with Linux administration.
• Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
• Experience operating or supporting 24x7 production services.
