We are a fast-paced boutique fund house focused on identifying and investing in the future. We operate with high standards, disciplined execution, and a lean team structure. We use data, software, and AI to improve the quality, speed, and repeatability of our investment and operating workflows.
The role
We are looking for a Product & Visual Designer to turn complex information and workflows into clear, intuitive tools, and to give the firm a polished, consistent visual identity.
This is an end-to-end role that spans two areas: product design for the internal tools, dashboards, and data-rich applications our team uses every day, and visual design for our presentations, website, and branded materials.
You will work directly with our investment professionals and engineers to understand how information is actually used, translate those needs into clear workflows and interfaces, and own design from early exploration through implementation.
What you'll do
- Design internal tools end to end. Understand user needs and translate them into clear workflows, wire-frames, prototypes, and detailed UI designs.
- Make complex information easy to read. Design dashboards, data visualizations, and information-rich applications for our investment team.
- Build and maintain the design system. Establish a shared visual language and reusable components, and keep them coherent as our products grow.
- Test, iterate, and see designs through. Test ideas with users, improve designs based on feedback, and work with engineering to ensure quality in the finished product.
- Own company presentations. Design company presentations, pitch decks, and reusable slide templates.
- Write as well as design. Create and refine visual and written content for company presentations, websites, and marketing materials, from structuring the narrative to polishing the final copy.
- Steward the firm's visual identity. Design and maintain the website's visual identity and layouts, create branded materials for external communications and internal use, and keep the identity consistent across products, presentations, web, and print.
What we're looking for
- Strong visual design fundamentals — excellent command of typography, layout, color, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- High-quality UI and interaction design. You create polished, cohesive interfaces with close attention to spacing, proportion, and detail, and design intuitive interactions, meaningful transitions, and clear interface states.
- Information design — the ability to present complex information clearly while maintaining visual quality.
- Design systems — the ability to develop a consistent visual language and reusable components across products.
- Figma and prototyping — strong proficiency in detailed interface design and interactive prototyping, plus extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and PowerPoint.
- AI-assisted design workflows — experience using AI tools for design exploration and rapid prototyping.
- A degree in Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design / HCI, Digital Media Design, or a related field helps, but a strong portfolio of real, shipped work matters more.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a plus.
Preferred
- Frontend literacy. An understanding of frontend development and implementation constraints, so designs translate cleanly into what engineering builds.
- Experience with financial services or investment-related products. Not required, but it shortens the ramp-up.
