Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Product Specialist to drive discretionary and mutual funds assets within the private bank. You will provide client-focused support, marketing, and aftersales activities on a compliant platform, and assist RMs and Investment Counsellors with fund proposals.

You will collaborate with portfolio managers to integrate assets into discretionary programs and serve as a brand ambassador, upholding HSBC’s culture and standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in managed solutions within Wealth/Asset Management.
• Strong communication skills to present financial concepts and strategies.
• Knowledge of asset classes, portfolio construction and PM.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong business acumen and risk mindset.
• Team player.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Mandarin and Cantonese in business setting is a plus.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product Specialist.

In this role you will:

• Increase the private bank's share of discretionary and mutual funds assets by providing a solid client-focused platform
• Provide best in class internal and external client-focused support, marketing, and aftersales activities, on an effective, efficient and compliant infrastructure
• Support Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors in discretionary and mutual funds investment proposals.
• Work closely with portfolio managers to build assets into the discretionary programs
• Be a culture carrier and brand ambassador for HSBC

To be successful you will need:

• Relevant experience in managed solutions, in Wealth Management and/or Asset Management Industry
• Solid communication skills including ability to present financial concepts and strategies
• Good knowledge across asset classes, portfolio construction and portfolio management
• Proficient in business computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Good business acumen and strong risk mindset
• A good team player
• Bachelor or graduate degree is required
• Ability to converse in Mandarin and Cantonese in business setting will be an added advantage
