The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Product Owner for WP operation initiatives within its AOP programme in Hong Kong. You will set the product vision, manage a prioritized backlog and MVPs, and collaborate with scrum teams to deliver wagering products that drive growth and customer value.

You will leverage big data and customer insights to define personas, craft user stories, and guide prototyping and iterative improvements with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business, or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience in Product Management with large-scale initiatives.
• Experience in system migration planning and UAT testing approaches in wagering, finance, airlines or logistics.

Responsabilités

• Act as Product Owner for WP operation initiatives.
• Set strategic vision and business goals for the operation initiatives' total product solutions, with measurable metrics for effective product tracking.
• Create and manage a single, prioritised product backlog and define MVPs for the total product solution.
• Utilise big data and customer insights to develop a deep understanding of target customer personas and craft customer user stories for customer-centric products.
• Design and develop prototypes using quantitative and qualitative insight, and iteratively improve them together with customers.
• Resolve conflicts of business requirements among Product Owners for large-scale products and assume overall product ownership across scrum teams.
• Work closely with Scrum Masters and support IT teams to resolve resource contention so that scrum teams' release plans can be deployed on time and efficiently.
• Provide guidance and support to Quality Assurance teams in developing an effective testing strategy and achievable plan for wagering products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as Football Wagering, Public and External Affairs in product launch planning to ensure smooth rollout and ongoing operational stability.
• Assist EM to manage and prioritise the wagering product roadmap to achieve product strategy and maximise deliverables.
• Gear up the team for the Product Owner role to lead scrum team(s) in delivering total product solutions through agile-based product development methodology.
• Provide support to other AEs, coach junior staff, develop direct reports, and assist EM to manage team resources and coordinate with other AEs to maximise support for product delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, protecting the integrity of the Club's business.
• Undertake other duties assigned by Line Manager.
