The Institution Department builds and operates the infrastructure connecting institutional clients — custodians, banks, external exchanges, and TradFi partners — to Gate's trading, settlement, and custody capabilities.

Superlink sits at the center of Gate's institutional business — OES, CrossEx, TradFi, and Bank Custody all run through it.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, capable of drafting client materials and coordinating with overseas clients and partners.
• Working knowledge of institutional crypto and TradFi mechanics incl. spot trading, margin, settlement, custody, and risk management.
• Ability to turn ambiguous client feedback or incidents into clear context, root cause, and next actions for internal teams.
• Ability to work reliably in UTC+8 while coordinating with clients across other time zones.

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with institutional clients, custodians, banks, and TradFi partners in English and Chinese.
• Explain product rules, fund flows, and risk requirements to clients and internal stakeholders across asset classes.
• Convert client feedback and incidents into structured requirements and drive them to resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Own day-to-day operational coordination across time zones, keeping clients updated until issues are resolved.

The Institution Department builds and operates the infrastructure connecting institutional clients — custodians, banks, external exchanges, and TradFi partners — to Gate's trading, settlement, and custody capabilities.

Superlink sits at the center of Gate's institutional business — OES, CrossEx, TradFi, and Bank Custody all run through it. As the connective layer between BD, clients, partners, and product, this role owns the full arc from first client conversation to day-to-day operational resolution. Every issue you close and every piece of feedback you structure shapes what gets built next.

What You'll Do

• Communicate directly with institutional clients, custodians, banks, and TradFi partners in English and Chinese, covering asset structures, custody arrangements, settlement, and risk needs.
• Explain product rules, fund flows, and risk requirements clearly to clients and internal stakeholders across spot, perpetuals, margin, settlement, and custody.
• Convert client feedback and operational incidents into structured requirements — separating urgent incidents from configuration issues, partner issues, and longer-term product gaps — and drive them to resolution with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Ops.
• Own day-to-day operational coordination across time zones — asset sync, trading limits, margin calls, settlement, reconciliation — keeping clients updated until each issue is confirmed resolved.

What You'll Bring

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese — able to draft client materials, run meetings, and coordinate issue resolution with overseas clients and partners without support.
• Working fluency in institutional crypto/TradFi mechanics: spot trading, perpetual futures, margin, settlement, custody, fund transfers, and risk management.
• A track record of turning ambiguous client feedback or incidents into clear context, root cause, and next actions — and driving them through multiple internal teams to closure.
• Ability to work reliably in UTC+8 while coordinating consistently with clients and partners across other time zones.

Bonus

• Experience with institutional custodians or exchanges.
• Experience serving overseas institutional clients, trading teams, market makers, funds, or high-net-worth clients, or additional languages beyond English and Chinese.
