Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited, a public-listed technology services provider headquartered in Singapore, seeks a Product Engineer, R&D to own end-to-end product engineering for electro-mechanical products across NPI, ramp-up, and sustaining phases.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customers to continuously improve performance and manufacturability while ensuring cost, quality and reliability meet expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of NPI experience in electromechanical products.
• Experience with life science manufacturing preferred.
• Familiar with PCBA design and design tools like Altium or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of ISO13485 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product engineering for electro-mechanical products across NPI, ramp-up, mass production and sustaining phases.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, SupplyChain, and Customers to improve product performance.
• Perform failure analysis to trace root cause and implement permanent solutions.
• Provide Design for Excellence (DFX), DFMEA and DOE activities to identify root causes.
• Manage BOM updates and create/maintain engineering documentation and changes.
• Plan and coordinate qualification/validation activities for engineering changes before mass production.
• Coordinate prototype builds and Engineering Evaluations to validate changes at production lines.
• Study and improve product performance through design and process improvements.

AsaProductEngineer,R&D,youwill:

Ownend-to-endproductengineeringresponsibilitiesforelectro-mechanicalproductsacrossNPI,ramp-up,massproduction,andsustainingphases,ensuringproductperformance,manufacturability,cost,quality,andreliabilitymeetorganizationalandcustomerexpectations.

Drivecross functionalcollaborationwithManufacturing,Quality,SupplyChain,andCustomerstocontinuouslyimproveproductperformancethroughoutitslifecycle.

• Performfailureanalysistotracetherootcauseofthefailure,troubleshootHWrelatedproductissuesanddrivetoimplementpermanentsolutionstoimproveproductionyieldandqualityofthemanufactured/shippedproducts.
• PerformDesignAnalysiswithDFX,DFMEAetctoidentifydesignrelatedrootcauses.
• BOMpreparation/update,Create/updateEngineeringdocumentationsincludingchangestoSchematics/Layout,orMechanicalCADand2Ddrawingasnecessary.
• Plan,co-ordinateandleadtoimplementactionsrequiredtoevaluateandqualifyengineeringchangestoproductormanufacturingprocessespriortoimplementationinmassproduction,whichincludesproposalofQualification/Validationplanandexecution.
• PlanandworkwithR&DteamstoexecutePrototypebuildsorEngineeringEvaluationbuildstovalidateengineeringchangesatproductionline.
• Studyandimproveproductperformance(costandquality)throughcontinuousdesignandprocessimprovements.
• ProductownerresponsibleforperformanceacrosslifecycleincarryingoutRootCauseAnalysisandresolutionofrecurringHWorPCBAqualityorfieldissues.
• ProvideHWrelatedsupporttoresolveProductionTesterissues.
• Collaboratewithdesignersandendcustomerstoaddressfieldrelatedissues.
• ProposevalueengineeringopportunitytoclientsandimproveproductmarginYoY.

NPISupport(atPilotPhase):

• ReviewofProductDesignHandoverdocumentsforTestCoverageofallfunctionalities.
• ReviewofProcessCapabilitytoensuredesignedfunctionaltestspecificationscanachieveYieldtargets.
• ReviewofOpenProductIssues,containmentactionsandPlanofactiontoresolvethempermanently.
• Leadtechnicalcommunicationwithclientsandinternalteamafterproductionreleased.
• CoordinateEOLcomponentsandpartsqualificationandproductvalidationafterproductionreleased.

Requirements:
