Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited is seeking an Engineer, Manufacturing for its Singapore HQ in AMK to drive manufacturing process development, optimization, and NPI readiness. You will collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure high quality, cost-effective operations.

The role requires 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing, strong documentation skills, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or related industries is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of engineering documentation, maintenance systems, and record management.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes, production methods, and workflows to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process development, line setup, tooling, fixture design, and production readiness.
  • Analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve yield and efficiency.
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), process changes, and documentation updates.
  • Prepare and maintain manufacturing documents such as work instructions, process flow charts, PFMEA, control plans, and SOPs.
  • Investigate manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

We’re looking to add an Engineer, Manufacturing in Singapore. The position is based in our HQinAMK.

As a Engineer, Manufacturing, you will:

Responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high product quality, cost effectiveness, and compliance with customer and company requirements. Work closely with production, quality, supply chain, and customers to support new product introduction (NPI), yield improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.

The key responsibilities are as below:

NPI Roles:

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes, production methods, and workflows to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process development, line setup, tooling, fixture design, and production readiness.

  • Analyze production performance, identify process bottlenecks, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve yield and efficiency.

  • Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), process changes, and documentation updates.

  • Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process flow charts, PFMEA, control plans, and standard operating procedures.

  • Investigate manufacturing issues and product non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Work closely with production, quality, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical issues and ensure product and process requirements are met.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and other operational excellence methodologies.

  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate and follow up with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on engineering-related activities.

  • Initiate corrective and preventive actions for process-related issues and drive closure with relevant stakeholders.

  • Recommend process improvements and corrective actions related to engineering administration and maintenance support.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
