Job summary

Symphony Holdings Limited is seeking a seasoned sportswear fashion designer to lead from concept to production, including costing, materials, styling and trend analysis. You will develop product sketches, brand books, range books and technical packs to realise collections. The role requires strong sourcing research and collaboration with suppliers.

Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred; Japanese is an advantage. A Diploma or above in Fashion Design or related field is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable experience in sportswear and fashion design.
• Experience in outdoor garments, compression and activewear is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide directions and ideas from design to final production, including costing, materials, styling, colour palette, sampling, packaging and comprehensive project timelines and market trends analysis
• Develop product sketches, brand books, range book and execution of technical packs
• Conduct and sourcing fabric, material, trim, accessories, colour palette and graphics research based on trend direction and define product specification
• Liaise with sourcing suppliers for design and development of sampling, quotation, full production and assist in presentation and documentation settings
• Work closely with management and team into production-ready, and ensuring samples meet brand quality standard and market trends. Keep progress updating and traceability of product development record.

Requirements

• Experience:5+ years of applicable experience in sportswear & fashion design, ideally outdoor garments, compression, activewears, sports accessories field.
• Education:Diploma or above in Fashion Design, Textile and Garments.
• Market Knowledge: Technical expertise in sportswear product categories. Strong awareness of market needs of sportswear and sports fashion trend.
• Communication & Language: Team spirit is a Key. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is needed. Japanese speaking is an advantage.
• PC Skillset: Familiar with design software/programme: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Canva, AI imaging tools.
• Mentality: Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
