Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited is seeking a product development professional to drive seasonal concepts and manage sample development. You will work closely with merchandising, material teams, factories, and the Product Development Manager to translate trends into market-ready products.

The role requires 2+ years in apparel development, strong fabric knowledge, and fluency in English and Cantonese + Mandarin, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion & Textiles or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in apparel product development.
• Strong fabric and trims knowledge with understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese + Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Research upcoming fashion trends and translate insights into seasonal themes.
• Build trend decks, mood/design boards, and curated samples for customer presentations.
• Source materials and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support development.
• Follow up daily with factories on sample progress, timelines and order inquiries.
• Prepare and organize development samples, shipment samples, and fabric swatches each season and on request.

Requirements

• Degree holder (Fashion & Textiles or related preferred).
• 2+ years' experience in apparel product development.
• Strong fabric & trims knowledge; understanding of apparel manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with US apparel brands is a plus.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese + Mandarin).
