AIA Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Insurance Product Developer to support end‑to‑end product development and implementation across various initiatives. You will ensure high quality, timely deliverables and collaborate closely with legal, compliance, operations, IT, actuarial and marketing teams to drive successful launches.

• University/College degree required or equivalent.
• 6–7 years of working experience in insurance product development preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to lead cross‑functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Collect market information and analyze product strategies to meet customer needs and competitive environments.
• Lead and implement product design and development cycles per company strategies.
• Develop product literatures, templates, memos, specifications, and training materials for launches.
• Conduct and review UAT for systems (e.g., Proposal Generation System) to support launches and regulatory initiatives.
• Oversee quality and timeliness of materials delivered by the team.
• Review product literatures for accuracy from a product perspective.
• Prepare business reports and coordinate with multiple departments for product launches and regulatory initiatives.
• Participate in Product Implementation Taskforce and regular meetings to support launches and initiatives.
• Assist in product maintenance tasks and ad-hoc projects.

About the Role

Support the product development and implementation process of various insurance products initiatives

Good quality and accuracy of deliverables in a timely manner

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect market information and conduct internal and external product analysis for deriving the right product solutions and product strategies to meet customer needs and competitive market environments
• Lead and implement product design and development cycle in line with the company strategies in various product development projects
• Develop various product literatures (e.g. contract, PGS template, memo, product specification, training materials), product launch pack and presentation materials for product launches
• Conduct and review the User Acceptance Test (UAT) for different systems, such as Proposal Generation System (PGS), to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives
• Oversee the quality and manage the timeline of materials delivered by team members
• Review product literatures from other departments to ensure accuracy from product perspective
• Prepare the business reports as assigned by supervisor and ensure accurate output.
• Coordinate and work closely with various departments (e.g. Law, Compliance, Operations, IT, Actuarial and Marketing departments) for assigned tasks to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
• Participate in Product Implementation Taskforce and PGS regular meetings to support the implementation of the product launches, various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
• Assist in various product maintenance tasks for inforce business (e.g. revamp in existing product literatures, dividend review, periodic due diligence with bank partners, Day 2 product development items, etc.)
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.

Minimum Job Requirements

• University / College graduate with 6-7 years of working experience in insurance products development role, actuarial science or related background is preferred
• Self-starter with good analytical ability
• Team player with positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Creativity with innovative thinking and customer oriented
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with business sense
• Project management skill is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
