Job summary

UCP Group seeks a senior Product Designer to lead the full development cycle for seasonal decorations and home décor, from concept ideation to final artwork.

You will create hand sketches, digital artworks, and technical drawings, communicating design intent to internal teams and sales. A strong portfolio and 4+ years’ experience are required; fluency in Chinese and English is expected. Relocation to Zhongshan is needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Graphic Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in product or graphic design with a strong portfolio in seasonal decorations and home décor.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of 3D modeling (Rhino/SolidWorks/KeyShot) is a plus; Chinese and English skills.

Job description

• Lead the full product development cycle for seasonal decorations, novelty items, and home décor products—from concept ideation and mood boards through to final production-ready artwork.
• Produce detailed hand sketches, technical drawings, and digital artworks using industry-standard design tools to communicate design intent clearly to internal teams and sales teams.
• Partner closely with the sales team to develop seasonal collections, providing design direction and ensuring product concepts are commercially viable and aligned with market trends.
• Act as the primary design interface between sales teams and customers, communicating design specifications, reviewing samples, and ensuring design concepts are accurately realized.
• Conduct ongoing research into seasonal and home décor market trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences to inform and inspire new product development.
• Evaluate pre-production and production samples against design specifications, providing constructive feedback to the relevant teams to resolve discrepancies and uphold design integrity.
• Provide ad-hoc design and project support to the broader team, contributing to presentations, catalogues, and other design-related initiatives as needed.
• Prepare compelling design presentations and storyboards to effectively communicate product concepts, design rationale, and seasonal collections to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Participate in customer meetings to present designs, gather feedback, and incorporate client input into product development iterations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Graphic Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in product or graphic design, with a strong portfolio in seasonal decorations and home décor products.
• Hands‑on experience designing seasonal and home decoration products is essential. Familiarity with materials and production processes relevant to this product category is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office. 3D modeling skills (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, or KeyShot) are a plus.
• Creative, innovative, and detail‑oriented with a strong aesthetic sense and an eye for color, proportion, and material finishes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, well‑organized, accountable, and a collaborative team player.
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese (including Mandarin) and English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Zhongshan, China.
• Less experience will be consider as Product designer.
