Job summary

Prenetics IM8 division seeks a Procurement Assistant in Hong Kong to manage end-to-end sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, ensuring on-time, compliant delivery and audit-ready records.

Collaborate with Operations, QA, and Product Development; leverage ERP tools and AI-enabled workflows to optimize procurement and reporting while maintaining accuracy and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations support.
• A strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English to work with vendors and stakeholders (Cantonese/Mandarin a plus).
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for cost analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procure-to-pay for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Support managers with research, analysis, and reporting to sharpen sourcing decisions.
• Coordinate daily with Operations, QA, and Product Development to align components and lead times.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Procurement Assistant - IM8, based in Hong Kong (on-site), to support the end-to-end flow of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods from our manufacturing partners to our customers. You will work hand-in-hand with Operations, Quality Assurance, and Product Development to keep our supply chain accurate, on time, and audit-ready as we scale. Your mandate: make sure what we promise customers is delivered flawlessly - every ingredient, every shipment, every time.

What You’ll Do

Procure-to-Pay

• Own the end-to-end procure-to-pay process for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods across our life-science and healthcare products.
• Support procurement managers and officers with research, analysis, and reporting that keeps sourcing decisions sharp.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Partner daily with Operations, Quality Assurance, and Product Development to align on components, packaging requirements, lead times, and new product iterations - anticipating and resolving supply issues before they surface.
• Support inventory control: monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant teams for timely replenishment.

Sourcing & Vendors

• Source and evaluate vendors on pricing, quality, delivery, regulatory compliance, and ethical sourcing; negotiate low-risk agreements under senior guidance, capturing every detail accurately.

Logistics & Documentation

• Book freight, track shipments, and manage import/export documents (Certificates of Analysis, customs declarations), resolving delivery exceptions with minimal disruption.
• Maintain accurate records in our ERP and supplier-performance dashboards (on-time delivery, cost savings, quality metrics, compliance documentation).

What We’re Looking For

• 1-3 years’ experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations support.
• A strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and hit tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication (English; Cantonese/Mandarin a plus) to work with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for cost analysis, reporting, and data management.

Non-Negotiable

• You are on-site in Hong Kong, ready for real-time collaboration and vendor coordination.
• You are meticulous. When a Certificate of Analysis, a customs declaration, or a cost figure is wrong, you catch it before it becomes a problem. If “close enough” is your standard, this is not your role.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to consumer products, manufacturing, or health-science categories.
• Familiarity with D365, Procurify, Precoro, or an equivalent ERP, with an emphasis on accurate data entry and reporting.
