Job summary

Anlaseo Technology Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and optimize etching processes for photonic and semiconductor materials, supporting stable transfer, equipment capability and new-product introduction.

You will work with ICP/RIE dry-etch and wet-etch processes, tune gas chemistry, RF power and pressure, and use SEM/AFM and other tools to analyze sidewall morphology and ensure process quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in microelectronics, physics, materials science, or related field.
• Hands-on dry-etch experience with GaAs, InP, Si or related compounds.
• Proficient with ICP/RIE equipment (Oxford, LAM, STS, NAURA or equivalents).
• Strong knowledge of plasma physics and III-V etching characteristics.
• Experience with DOE and data analysis tools (JMP, Minitab).
• Familiar with SEM, AFM, profilometers, ellipsometers; cleanroom capable.
• Willing to travel or be assigned to external worksites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot ICP/RIE dry-etch processes for InP, Si and related materials.
• Develop wet-etch processes with precise etch rate and undercut control.
• Optimize gas chemistry, RF power, pressure to balance etch rate and selectivity.
• Use SEM and other tools to assess sidewall morphology and ratio.
• Prepare etching SOPs, work instructions, and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with R&D for process improvements and NPI.
