Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Management professional to assess credit risk, analyze proposals, and prepare comprehensive risk reports for the bank. The role focuses on developing and enhancing credit risk policies, supporting commercial lending, trade finance, and other credit products to strengthen competitiveness.

Excellent English and Chinese communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems or a related discipline.
Professional qualifications such as CFA, FPM, ACCA, CPA or ECF are preferred.
At least 7 years of experience in credit risk management and credit analysis; experience in credit policy development is an advantage.
Sound understanding of Basel III and banking practices related to credit risk management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills; ability to work independently.
Proficient in written English and Chinese, and fluent in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Assess credit applications and financing proposals, evaluate risks, and prepare comprehensive credit assessment reports.
Develop and enhance credit risk policies to manage the bank's credit risk exposure effectively.
Support the development of commercial lending, trade finance and other credit products to strengthen the bank's competitiveness.
