Job summary

The American Club Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Events Manager to support the processing of bookings for Vista, Clipper, the Club’s yacht and other spaces, ensuring private events meet revenue goals. You will build relationships with members, wedding planners and organizers, lead event teams, coordinate logistics, and deliver flawless experiences across Central and Tai Tam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, and/or Events Management is highly preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of event management, organization and/or co-ordination experience in hospitality or related industries
• Professional training or certifications in Event Management, Luxury Hospitality Studies, or F&B Operations is a distinct advantage
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with excellent customer service skills
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; fluency in Cantonese

Responsibilities

• Process event bookings for Vista, Clipper, the Club’s yacht and other spaces ensuring timely delivery
• Develop relationships with members, planners and referrals to drive event sales
• Lead organizers, partners and internal teams to ensure high-quality event execution
• Coordinate with Culinary, IT and Banqueting teams for thorough advance preparation
• Prepare Banquet Event Orders and be onsite as required
• Consolidate feedback and generate post-event reports and analysis
• Assist in building the annual Event Sales and Marketing Plan and budget
• Identify new business opportunities through marketing activities and client follow-ups
