Job summary

PeopleSearch is seeking a Private Banking Relationship Manager in Hong Kong to manage a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients and drive growth. You will deliver wealth advisory, recommend suitable banking and investment solutions, and ensure compliance with HK regulations and internal policies.

You will build long-term client relationships, coordinate with internal teams, and work toward AUM growth and revenue targets while upholding strict suitability and disclosure standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Relationship Manager in Private Banking or High-End banking
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Own and manage relationships with HNW/UHNW clients and prospects in Hong Kong.
• Drive new client acquisition via referrals, networking, and structured outreach.
• Provide premium service to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
• Understand client needs including wealth growth, income planning, capital preservation and estate planning.
• Proactively propose tailored wealth solutions using banking and investment products.
• Meet/exceed KPIs for AUM growth, net new money, and revenue targets.
• Ensure investment allocations align with client objectives and risk tolerance.
• Support execution and product implementation with internal teams.
• Coordinate with Investment/Portfolio Management, Product Specialists, Compliance and Onboarding.
• Ensure smooth onboarding, documentation readiness and timely servicing.
• Follow KYC/AML requirements and maintain up-to-date client information.
• Maintain CRM records for audit readiness.

The Private Banking Relationship Manager (RM) will manage a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients in Hong Kong, drive acquisition and growth, and deliver high-quality wealth advisory. The role focuses on building long-term client relationships, recommending suitable investment and banking solutions, and achieving AUM growth and revenue targets while maintaining strict compliance with Hong Kong regulatory and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage relationships with assigned HNW/UHNW clients (and prospects).
• Drive new client acquisition via referrals, networking, and structured outreach.
• Provide premium service and ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
• Understand client needs (wealth growth, income planning, capital preservation, succession/estate planning as applicable).
• Proactively propose tailored wealth solutions using appropriate banking and investment products.
• Meet/exceed KPIs including: AUM growth, net new money, and revenue/product targets (as applicable).
• Ensure appropriate investment allocation in line with client objectives and risk tolerance (suitability).
• Support execution and product implementation with internal teams.
• Coordinate with Investment/Portfolio Management, Product Specialists, Compliance, Credit/Risk, Operations, and Client Onboarding.
• Ensure smooth onboarding, documentation readiness, and timely servicing.
• Follow KYC/AML requirements and maintain up-to-date client information.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong regulatory expectations and internal policies (including suitability and disclosure).
• Maintain accurate CRM records and documentation for audit readiness.

Requirement

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Relationship Manager in a Private Banking or High-End Premier Banking environment.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required to serve the regional client base.
