Job summary

Be Myjob Company Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Product Specialist in Private Banking to support sales of investment products, coordinate with relationship managers and meet targets. You will deliver investment ideas to clients and train RM on product knowledge.

The role requires a degree, strong investment product knowledge, and relevant qualifications (SFC/HKMA/IIQA; IIQE/HKSI; CFA/CPWP preferred) with 3–4+ years in banking or wealth management and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• University degree or above in related subjects.
• Strong investment products knowledge.
• Qualifications in SFC / HKMA / IIQA.
• CFA / CPWP is highly preferred.
• At least 3 years related banking and wealth management experience.
• Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills.
• Good command of English and Chinese including Putonghua.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance/economics/business is advantageous.
• Minimum 4 years of retail/private banking or related experience.
• IIQE and HKSI qualifications are a must; CPWP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Sell and cross-sell investment / FX / securities products for underwriting activities.
• Maintain cordial relationships with clients through regular visits and events.

• Analyze client portfolios for risk management and potential credit needs.
• Generate net interest income by negotiating credit facilities.
• Prepare call reports and maintain high service quality.
• Prepare credit proposals and monthly business development reports.

Job description

• * Act as product specialist in Private Banking to maintain, motivate and coordinate the sale of investment products, and work closely with relationship managers to meet sale target
• * Train relationship managers on product knowledge and monitor investment ideas
• * Deliver investment ideas with clients through face-to-face/conference call
• * Construct client portfolio proposal and review according to clients' needs
• * Provide daily trade and administrative support
• * Assist in product launch cycle, from due diligence to after-launch training and review
• * Ensure sales conduct are in strict adherence
• * Upgrade and maintain professionalism in investment

Job Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunity and cross-sell other bank products to existing clients and potential clients
• Sell and cross-sell investment / FX / securities products for acquiring, disposing and subscribing underwriting securities
• Maintain cordial relationship with existing clients and potential clients through regular visit, business call, business function and social gathering
• Monitor daily performance and business activities of clients’ account
• Analyze business potential and creditability of clients’ portfolio for risk management purpose
• Generate NII by negotiation with clients for credit facility arrangement
• Prepare call report and maintain a high service quality to clients
• Prepare credit proposal, ratification memo and report business development on monthly basis

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent , Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline is an advantage
• Minimum 4 years of retail/private banking or relevant experience
• Good knowledge of personal banking and wealth management of products and services. Experience in serving high-net-worth clients is an advantage
• Qualifications in IIQE and HKSI is a must and CPWP is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (including Putonghua)
