Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong seeks a pricing & analytics professional within the PB Pricing & Analytics team of Institutional Equities, supporting pricing analysis, model development, and client negotiations across Prime Brokerage products and cleared derivatives in APAC.

You will partner with Sales, Trading, Risk, Finance, IT and external clients; analyze desk profitability and drive efficiency; contribute to management reporting and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years related financial experience in Prime Brokerage or related analytical roles.
• Strong numerical background and data analysis skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and ability to articulate complex situations clearly.
• Experience with pricing models or client negotiations is a plus.

Role Overview

The PB Pricing & Analytics team is part of the Institutional Equities Division. The team is responsible for pricing and analytics across equity financing and execution products within Prime Brokerage (Cash Prime Brokerage; Delta one Swaps; Securities Lending) and cleared derivatives products in APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and own pricing analysis and decision making
• Develop and maintain pricing models, scenario analyses to support client negotiations and new products.
• Partner closely with Sales and Coverage, Trading, Risk, Strats, Finance, IT and external clients
• Analysis of desk profitability, with emphasis on driving optimization and efficiency.
• Development of management reporting to aid the strategic management of the business
• Close involvement in strategic business initiatives

Skills Required

• 1-5 years related financial experience, ideally in: Prime Brokerage, Structuring, Strats, Risk, Trading or closely related analytical roles
• Strong numerical background and data analysis skills
• Analytic mindset, excellent problem solving ability and close attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to articulate complex situations clearly.
• Strong project management and time management skills
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced commercially driven environment
• Product knowledge of equity swaps and listed derivatives desirable
• Knowledge of regional APAC equity market structures desirable
