Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering delivering production-grade systems.

• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM tooling into production workflows.
• Proficient in backend APIs, frontend interfaces, data modeling, and cloud tooling.

The Role

• Direct Collaboration: Embed with front-office investment and operational teams to uncover high-value automation and AI opportunities.
• Rapid Prototyping & Build: Design, build, and deploy full-stack tools, APIs, data pipelines, and LLM/AI-assisted workflows.
• Productionisation: Harden successful prototypes into clean, tested, secure, and well-monitored microservices.
• Data Integration: Connect disparate internal and third-party data sources (APIs, relational databases, cloud storage, message queues) into clean, usable formats.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all builds meet strict enterprise security, data isolation, input validation, and governance standards within a regulated domain.
• Lifecycle Ownership: Oversee the full product lifecycle from initial discovery and design to deployment, user feedback, and continuous iteration.

Your Profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering and supporting production-grade systems
• Proven ability to take ambiguous business problems end-to-end-from initial scoping to production code used by real stakeholders
• Prior exposure to Asset Management, Investment Management, Fintech, or another highly regulated, data-heavy environment is strongly preferred
• AI & LLM Tooling: Hands-on experience integrating modern AI/LLM frameworks and tooling into production products or internal workflows
• Full-Stack Technical Skills:
  • Backend & APIs: Proficiency in backend development, microservices, and API integration (agnostic stack)
  • Frontend: Ability to build intuitive, practical web user interfaces
  • Data Architecture: Strong SQL skills, data, modelling experience, and familiarity with cloud data stores (e.g., PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, Graph/Vector stores)
  • Cloud & DevOps: Exposure to cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP), containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders clearly
