Job summary

Options is seeking a Platform Engineer in Hong Kong to join our Agile team. You will work directly with customers to resolve incidents, fulfil service requests, and contribute to projects evolving with the fintech industry.

The role involves 24/7 follow-the-sun shifts and hands-on work with Kubernetes and OpenShift in production environments. You will collaborate across teams, drive automation, improve documentation, and pursue certifications while delivering reliable infrastructure and services

• Cluster updating and patching across Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Monitoring cloud infrastructure, identifying efficiency gains, and service improvements.

The Role

As part of our Agile team, you will work directly with customers to resolve incidents, fulfil service requests, and contribute to projects that evolve alongside the industry. This position will be responsible for delivering technical solutions to ensure service availability and suggesting improvements.

Due to the critical nature of the infrastructure and network the team operate a shift rotation to 24/7 “Follow the Sun” model. We use ITIL as a tool, not a crutch, and encourage every team member to improve processes for efficiency, correctness, and value. You will be working with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes and OpenShift in production environments with great opportunities for personal growth in terms of certifications and exposure

Typical job duties would include:
