The Urban Renewal Authority 市區重建局 is seeking a seasoned placemaking professional to lead strategy formulation and coordinate end-to-end placemaking programmes. You will oversee partners, vendors and events, ensuring governance, budget discipline and strong community outcomes.

Requirements include a degree in urban studies or related fields, 5+ years in placemaking or event management, and fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).

Competenze

• Degree holder in Urban Studies, Placemaking, Business, Marketing, Event Management, Arts & Culture, Heritage, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant placemaking, public space activation, event management, or project management experience.
• Proven track record in project execution including contract management, vendor coordination and budget tracking.
• Extensive network with NGOs, community organisations, arts and cultural groups, vendors and designers.
• Knowledge of event management and public programming; literacy in generative AI tools preferred.
• Highly organised, creative, collaborative, and strong communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).

Mansioni

• Contribute to placemaking strategies and translate strategic directions into actionable project plans.
• Manage end-to-end placemaking programmes and oversee partners, vendors and operators.
• Coordinate daily operations and programming of community spaces with stakeholders.
• Contribute to collaborative programmes linking assets with the community.
• Ensure governance and compliance across placemaking, including procurement and budgeting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
