Job summary

The Urban Renewal Authority in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned placemaking professional to translate strategy into actionable project plans with clear scope, timelines and resources. You will drive full-cycle placemaking programmes, manage partners and vendors, coordinate daily operations of community spaces and events, and ensure governance and compliant financial administration.

A degree in Urban Studies or related fields and at least five years’ experience are required, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Degree in Urban Studies, Placemaking, Business, Marketing, Event Management, Arts & Culture, Heritage or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in placemaking, public space activation, event management, or project management.
• Strong communication, English and Chinese language skills (Cantonese/Putonghua).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to placemaking strategy and translate into actionable project plans with clear scope and timeline.
• Coordinate full-cycle placemaking programmes and manage partners, vendors, and operators; maintain governance and financial administration.
• Oversee daily operations and programming of community spaces; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful events and activations.
