Job summary

St. James’ Settlement in Hong Kong is seeking a motivated Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.

You will dispense medications, provide patient counselling and clinical services, and document care while engaging with the community to promote primary care. The role also involves training pharmacy staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams; previous community pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Pharmacist Certificate of Registration and Annual Practising Certificate.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (spoken & written).
• Experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: manage pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and efficiency standards.
• Medication dispensing: accurately dispense prescription and OTC medications according to guidelines.
• Patient counselling and clinical services: deliver and document counselling, minor ailment and medication management services.

• Ad hoc duties: handle additional projects as directed by supervisors.
