Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on functional experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (versions 9.0 / 9.2).
• At least one implementation or upgrade project, ideally end-to-end.
• Solid configuration skills in one or more: Campus Community, Recruiting and Admissions, Student Records, Academic Advisement, Student Financials, Financial Aid, Student Self-Service.
• Good working knowledge of PS Query, setup tables, roles and permission lists.
• Able to write clear functional specifications and test scripts in English.

Responsibilities

• Run requirements workshops and produce fit-gap analysis against standard Campus Solutions functionality.
• Configure and prototype the modules assigned to you, and document the setup.
• Write functional specifications for developments, interfaces, conversions and reports, then validate technical delivery.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios, and support SIT, UAT and parallel run phases.
• Support data conversion and reconciliation from the legacy student system.
• Train key users and end users, and produce associated documentation.
• Support cutover, go-live and the warranty period.

PEOPLESOFT CAMPUS SOLUTIONS FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT

A leading Hong Kong higher-education institution is implementing Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. You will join the project team as an experienced functional consultant and take ownership of one or more Campus Solutions areas, from requirements gathering through to go-live and stabilisation. You will work directly with the university business stakeholders (Registry, Admissions, Student Finance, Faculties, IT) and alongside a technical team responsible for developments, interfaces, data conversion and reporting. This is a functional consultant role, not a technical developer role. The focus is on understanding business requirements, configuring the system, writing functional specifications, and guiding the implementation from a functional perspective.

Key responsibilities

About you
