Job summary

Reap is seeking a Manager of Payment Operations in Hong Kong to architect an automated payment infrastructure, replacing manual payout workflows with scalable solutions. You will partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, and CX to deliver capabilities that delight customers while upholding risk and compliance standards.

You will oversee end-to-end payment processing, optimize multi-step workflows, and build data-driven dashboards to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on operations experience in banking, fintech, or a high-growth startup.
• Background in Finance, Business Administration, Operations, or related field.
• Proven automation and process optimization across multi-step workflows.
• Strong data analysis skills turning raw data into actionable improvements.
• Knowledge of Transaction Monitoring and AML across APAC regions.
• SQL proficiency and analytics tooling experience (Looker/Tableau).
• Experience integrating with APIs or shipping internal tooling with engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily payment processing and client transaction lifecycle, including secure management of fiat and crypto assets.
• Dive into complex workflows to identify bottlenecks and design automated solutions.
• Define and maintain data-driven performance metrics and QA dashboards for transparency.
• Lead launches of new payment features in collaboration with Product and Engineering.
• Ensure compliance with TM and AML requirements across markets.
• Document SOPs, runbooks, and incident response workflows scalable across regions.
• Collaborate with FinCrime, Legal, and Risk to adapt to evolving regulations.
