OnTheList is seeking a Part-time HR Assistant (2-3 days per week) based in Hong Kong. You will support talent acquisition, onboarding and payroll processes for frontline part-time staff.

The role requires a degree in HR, 2 years of HR generalist experience, and bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English. The position offers a flexible, hybrid work setup with opportunities to contribute to engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
• 2 years HR generalist experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for frontline part-time roles in Hong Kong, including postings, screening, interviews and offers.
• Coordinate interviews and correspondence between candidates and hiring managers.
• Onboard part-time hires and address payroll-related queries.
• Liaise with part-time staffing agencies for manpower planning.
• Support HR initiatives like career fairs and engagement events.

WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH…

Talent Acquisition

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for frontline part-time positions in the Hong Kong market, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer coordination
• Assist in scheduling interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers for office-based positions
• Serve as the primary point of contact for part-time new hires, managing the full onboarding process and addressing employment-related queries
• Act as the main liaison with part-time staffing agencies to ensure smooth manpower planning and fulfilment
• Support the execution of HR initiatives such as career fairs and other recruitment events
• Maintain HR databases and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

Compensation & Benefits

• Process payroll for frontline part-time employees in the Hong Kong market
• Assist with year-end salary benchmarking surveys
• Support annual tax filing and related statutory requirements

Employee Engagement

• Assist in coordinating group-level staff engagement activities across all markets
• Support the organisation of employee events, workshops, and team-building activities
• Collect and analyse employee feedback
• Coordinate and organise team CSR events
• Participate in ad-hoc HR projects as required

WHAT IT TAKES…

• Degree holder in Human Resources Management or equivalent
• Ideally 2 years of HR generalist in a fast paced and customer focused environment
• High adaptability, quickly adapt to new environments and changes.
• Proficient with understanding of the Employment Ordinance and HR related compliance
• Responsible, well-organized and attention to details
• Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
