Department / Section : Department of Construction
(a) To perform teaching duties and related works in secondary schools and teaching centres;
(b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c) To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning, assessment materials and conduct quality assurance activities;
(d) To assist in publicity matters; and
(e) To liaise with secondary schools and teaching centres on the operation of Applied Learning courses.
(a) A recognised degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Technology/ Construction and Management or professional qualification, preferably with a post‑graduate qualification and skill in using BIM, AutoCAD and SUA;
(b) At least 3 years' relevant teaching and/or industry experience;
(c) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and
(d) Good records of linkage with industry or with teaching experience to secondary students will be an advantage.
(1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
(3) The appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis.
(4) In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
