Job summary

HKEX is seeking a senior Clearing Risk Control leader to oversee daily OTC Clear risk operations and reporting within Operations Risk Management. You will lead a team, ensure adherence to risk policies, and collaborate with stakeholders to advance market infrastructure.

The role requires10+ years in finance with at least 5 in management, strong derivatives knowledge, and fluency in English and Chinese. FRM/CFA preferred. Shift work and public holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in finance with at least 5 in management.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives products and OTC market practices.
• Fluent English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is preferred.
• FRM or CFA qualification and relevant risk-management experience.
• Willingness to work shifts including public holidays.
• Hands-on experience with RPA tools and coding languages like Python.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day OTC Clear risk operations and reporting.
• Lead a team to manage risk operations per established rules and procedures.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management and regulators.
