Oracle EPM Cloud Functional Lead - FCCS & EPBCS
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EPM Cloud professional to lead the design and delivery of financial consolidation, close, planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions.
In this role, you will partner with finance leaders, FP&A teams, controllership stakeholders, and technical architects to translate complex business requirements into scalable Oracle FCCS and EPBCS solutions. You will have ownership across the implementation lifecycle—from process discovery and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, training, and post-go-live support.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who combines strong finance and accounting knowledge with hands-on Oracle EPM Cloud implementation experience. You should be comfortable facilitating senior stakeholder discussions, making practical design decisions, and delivering solutions that are controlled, auditable, and easy for finance teams to use.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional design and configuration activities for Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) and Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS).
- Facilitate fit-to-standard, process-discovery, and solution-design workshops with finance, accounting, FP&A, and technology stakeholders.
- Translate financial close, consolidation, planning, budgeting, and forecasting requirements into scalable Oracle EPM Cloud designs.
- Design dimensions, hierarchies, security structures, workflows, business rules, calculations, forms, dashboards, and reporting outputs.
- Configure and validate consolidation methods, intercompany matching and eliminations, foreign currency translation, ownership structures, minority interest, journals, and statutory and management reporting.
- Develop calculation logic for group consolidation, consolidated funding flows, intercompany profit distribution, and other complex financial scenarios.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes from solution design through execution, reconciliation, and statutory sign-off.
- Translate FP&A operating models into EPBCS solutions, including planning processes, assumptions, approval workflows, governance controls, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Partner with solution architects and integration teams on data models, source-system integrations, security hierarchies, and automation patterns.
- Lead or support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, end-user training, deployment, and hyper-care.
- Produce clear, audit-ready functional specifications, configuration documentation, test evidence, operating procedures, and training materials.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on Oracle EPM Cloud capabilities, implementation practices, and process-improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications

- Experience designing and configuring EPBCS solutions for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes.
- Experience developing or validating calculation scripts, business rules, member formulas, dashboards, approval workflows, data‑entry forms, and Smart View reports.
- Experience planning and supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, end‑user training, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
- Working knowledge of Oracle EPM integration and automation capabilities, such as EPM Automate, REST APIs, Data Management or Data Exchange, ODI, or FDI.
- Ability to collaborate with architects and technical teams on dimensional models, integration patterns, data flows, and security structures.
