Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a Japanese-speaking Operations Specialist in Hong Kong within the FMCG sector. You will manage daily tasks, handle import/export administration, and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires over 4 years in supply chain/shipping and fluency in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Japanese, with strong organisational abilities and detail orientation.

As an operations specialist in the FMCG industry, you will provide essential support to ensure smooth operational processes. This role requires proficiency in Japanese to handle communication and documentation effectively.

The company operates in the FMCG industry and is based in Hong Kong. They are currently expanding and looking for a Japanese Speaking Operations specialist to join their team. This person will come from a supply chain background and can handle L/C, import/export trade documentation and also purchase orders follow ups.

Description

As an Ops Specialist - Japanese Speaking, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily operational tasks to support business processes- handling import/ export administration
• Preparing and reviewing documentation in Japanese and English.
• Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitoring and reporting on operational performance metrics.
• Handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Profile

A successful Ops Specialist - Japanese Speaking should have:

• Over 4 years solid experience in supply chain and shipping
• Fluency both written and spoken English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the FMCG industry or a similar sector is an advantage.
• Candidates who have short notice will have an advantage
