Job summary

Zero Finance Hong Kong Limited in Hong Kong seeks an ambitious Operations Manager to drive merchant acquisition and oversee sales operations within a fast-growing fintech environment.

You will collaborate with payment and product teams to optimize solutions, lead campaigns, ensure COB/KYC/AML compliance, and report on sales performance. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required; office located in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant payment / finance experience, preferably with a fast growing fintech startup / payment service / B2B SaaS platform.
• Highly motivated problem solver able to identify issues and provide solutions in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient in English and Chinese including Mandarin, with strong knowledge of MS Office applications, WhatsApp, Outlook etc communication tools.
• Independent, self-initiative and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive merchant acquisition and growth: Proactively identify, target, and acquire new merchants/partners while managing positive relationships with external payment partner networks for deeper partnership opportunities and smooth delivery of operations.
• Drive operational excellence in sales operations, identify areas for improvement in operating procedure simplification, streamlining, and standardization
• Lead merchant campaign in a cost- and time-efficient manner to perform merchant training and onboarding under compliance guideline to fulfil requirement of COB/ Client Due Diligence/KYC checking/AML screening.
• Stay market-ahead: Keep up with the latest industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments in the payment sector to provide actionable process and system recommendations.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of sales campaigns, promotions, and incentive programs to drive sales productivity and achieve targets
• Work closely with our product and marketing teams to optimize our payment solutions for the market
• Provide regular reports and updates on sales pipeline and performance
• Handle special projects and ad-hoc incoming requests
