Job summary

MRSL Group, a global powerhouse in independent electronic components, seeks an experienced operations leader to optimise cross-border trading and digital procurement across Asia, Europe, and the US. You will coordinate customers, suppliers, test labs, logistics, and internal teams, driving process improvement, quality standards, and end-to-end visibility in fast-paced markets.

Qualifications

  • Experience in electronic components distribution or broker/trader environments.
  • Strong knowledge of open-market trading operations.
  • Proven ability to manage quality control and logistics across international shipments.
  • Experience with ERP and order management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from receipt through shipment and delivery.
  • Maintain complete order visibility and accurate tracking throughout fulfilment.
  • Resolve delivery issues quickly to protect customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate international shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers.
  • Ensure all import/export documentation is completed accurately.
  • Manage shipping activities across Asia, Europe, and North America.
  • Oversee quality control activities throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Coordinate product verification with third-party testing laboratories.
  • Support ISO, QMS, and EMS audit requirements.
  • Ensure customer-specific quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Partner with Sales, Sourcing, Accounting, and Operations teams.

Role Overview

This is a strategic, hands-on leadership opportunity for an operations professional who thrives in the fast-moving world of electronic component trading.

You'll become the central point of coordination between customers, suppliers, test laboratories, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring every transaction moves seamlessly from quotation to delivery.

Success in this role requires the mindset of a strategic hunter: someone who can identify operational bottlenecks, improve processes, drive quality standards, and maintain complete visibility across complex global supply chains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer orders from receipt through to shipment and final delivery.
  • Maintain complete order visibility and ensure accurate tracking throughout the fulfilment cycle.
  • Resolve delivery issues quickly to protect customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate international shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers.
  • Ensure all import/export documentation is completed accurately.
  • Manage shipping activities across Asia, Europe, and North America.
  • Oversee quality control activities throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Coordinate product verification with third-party testing laboratories.
  • Support ISO, QMS, and EMS audit requirements.
  • Ensure customer-specific quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Partner with Sales, Sourcing, Accounting, and Operations teams.
  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers, customers, testing partners, and logistics providers.
  • Resolve documentation, delivery, and quality-related challenges proactively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Leverage ERP systems, AI-enabled tools, and automation technologies.
  • Maintain accurate operational reporting and documentation.
Requirements
Industry Experience
  • Previous experience within electronic components, semiconductor distribution, or independent distribution (broker/trader) environments.
  • Strong understanding of open-market trading operations.
Quality & Logistics Expertise
  • Experience managing quality control processes within electronic components.
  • Proven logistics and international shipment coordination experience.
  • Understanding of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.

Experience across one or more of the following product categories would be highly advantageous:

  • Memory

  • Switches
Technical & Commercial Skills
  • Experience working with third-party testing laboratories.
  • Knowledge of ISO, QMS, and EMS frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and order management platforms.
