Li & Fung (Trading) Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager – Operations Finance in Hong Kong. This role involves managing sales and margin reporting, conducting variance analysis, and supporting internal and customer business reviews.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in business analytics or finance and advanced proficiency in Excel. You will also need strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a US-based team.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in business analytics, commercial finance, operations finance or operations analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau (preferred), SQL (preferred), Python (nice-to-have).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Own forward-looking sales and margin reporting.
• Track customer claims and chargebacks.
• Analyze freight, duty, drayage and inventory costs.
• Perform detailed OPEX analysis.
• Support internal and customer quarterly business reviews.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve data transparency.
