Job summary

NewBX Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a proactive Operations/Compliance professional to monitor trading activities across Virtual Assets and Fiat currencies. The role supports wallet operations, analyzes user trading patterns, and aids in margin risk management to ensure platform stability.

The candidate will collaborate with compliance and risk teams, examine transaction data for improvements, and assist in safeguarding private keys within a security framework under the Head of Operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in operations, compliance or similar role within financial services, fintech or Virtual Asset trading sectors.
• Familiarity with Virtual Assets, trading platforms and HK regulatory environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring trading activities involving Virtual Assets and Fiat Currencies.
• Ensure smooth wallet operations across the platform.
• Support analysis of user trading patterns and platform trading positions for margin and risk management.
• Examine transaction data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to meet regulatory standards and best practices.
• Address user inquiries and feedback with customer support and internal teams.
• Participate in projects related to safeguarding private keys within a security framework.

Contribute to the examination of transaction data related to Virtual Assets, aiding in the identification of areas for improvement and optimization

Collaborate with the compliance and risk management teams to address operational issues, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices

Help address user inquiries and feedback, working closely with customer support and other internal teams to provide timely and effective solutions

Participate in projects and tasks related to the management and safeguarding of private keys within a security framework

Perform additional tasks and support various initiatives as directed by the Head of Operations

About you

Bilingual in English and Chinese

At least a Diploma in Computer Science, or a related field

At least 1 year of experience in operations, compliance, or a similar role within the financial services, fintech, or Virtual Asset trading sectors

Familiarity with Virtual Assets, trading platforms, and the regulatory environment in Hong Kong is advantageous

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task management
