Nanyang Commercial Bank Ltd. in Hong Kong is hiring for a banking operations role focused on account opening, due diligence and regulatory compliance.

You will support corporate and private accounts, ensure risk controls, and contribute to data reporting for regulatory bodies. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 3 years in banking, with strong English, Chinese and Putonghua language skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant disciplines.
• At least 3 years of banking experience, preferably branch operations.
• Solid knowledge of retail banking and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong risk awareness and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of account admission requirements, due diligence and special checks.

Responsabilités

• Handle initial assessment of company account openings (single-tier and multi-tier structures).
• Perform due diligence on corporate and private accounts and conduct special account checks to meet regulatory requirements.
• Report statistical data to the bank’s operational risk department and HKMA.
• Assist in entering new account information into the system and perform system maintenance.
