Job summary

Referment, a global quantitative investment firm, is seeking a Systems Administrator for its Hong Kong office. The role combines hands-on end-user support with infrastructure administration across Windows and UNIX environments, storage, and computing infrastructure.

The position is office-based, requiring collaboration with global colleagues and vendors to improve reliability and efficiency of technology. Occasional travel to Singapore and Shanghai may be involved.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows enterprise environments and Microsoft 365.
• Experience across hardware, software, desk-side, AV, conferencing, event or remote-user support.
• Strong research and analytical skills with curiosity to solve problems and improve processes.
• Clear interpersonal communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person support covering PC hardware, peripherals, software deployments, mobile devices, videoconferencing, AV equipment, trading-floor technology and occasional data-centre work.
• Work with global teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve technical and non-technical issues.
• Support Windows PCs and servers, UNIX servers, mobile devices and communications infrastructure.
• Investigate complex issues, administer infrastructure-level systems and contribute to automation and efficiency improvements.
