Job summary

The Jardine Engineering Corporation Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Building Services Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to oversee site activities, coordinate with clients, suppliers and project teams, and ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.

You will participate in tenders, budgets, drawings, and equipment submissions, and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality installation, testing and commissioning of building services systems while addressing defects

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering (Preferred background in air-conditioning or fire services)
• 1-3 years related experience, especially fitting-out and A&A works
• Proficient knowledge of building services installation and relevant statutory regulations
• A good team player with agile mindset. Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills are essential
• Good command of both English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office Project and AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Monitor overall site activities and liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams throughout the whole project
• Participate in preparing tender, budget proposal, drawings and equipment submission as well as project coordination and management
• Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams and subcontractors to ensure all site installation works comply with contractual and statutory requirements
• Monitor the progress of project and conduct periodic site inspections, testing and commissioning of building services installations and follow up on defect rectification
