The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong is seeking a Finance Officer to manage daily financial accounting operations, prepare journal entries and reports, and support month-end and year-end processes. You will collaborate with service units and other departments, ensuring compliance with financial rules and regulations.
UAT exposure and strong Excel skills are assets. Candidates should hold a bachelor degree in accounting or related discipline and have 3–5 years of experience, with
Responsible for daily financial accounting operations and overseeing financial activities
Prepare journal entries, monthly income and expenditure analysis reports, bank reconciliations, accounting schedules
Assist supervisor and manager in preparation of projects accounting, month- end and year-end procedures, management reporting and analysis
Work closely with service units and other departments on accounting operation and financial accounting matters
Review work procedures / work system and ensure compliance with the Association’s financial rules and regulations in the accounting functions
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or above in Accounting, Business, or related discipline
Minimum 3–5 years' relevant working experience
Exposure to implementation of system enhancements and performing users’ acceptance testing is an asset
Proficiency in knowledge of accounting software
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Good analytical skills and PC application including MS Word and advanced level in MS Excel is desirable
Good interpersonal skills and pleasant personality
Good initiative, great sense of commitment and a good team player
Candidates with less qualification and relevant working experience will be considered as Assistant Finance Officer
