Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd (HKEX) is seeking a Network Operation Centre Engineer - Officer to monitor, maintain, and support its critical network infrastructure in a 24x7 NOC.

You will handle alerts, troubleshoot L1/L2 issues, document incidents, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors. Cisco/Juniper/Arista devices, and monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Zabbix are part of daily ops. Shift rotations apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in network operations, NOC environment, or L1/L2 support roles.
• Holder of Cisco CCNP or Huawei HCIP is required.
• ITIL Foundation is a plus.
• Previous experience in regulated environments (banking/exchanges) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure, WAN/LAN, firewalls, load balancers, and data center equipment.
• Detect, analyze, and respond to network alerts and performance anomalies.
• Troubleshoot L1/L2 issues and escalate to L3 engineering when required.
• Maintain incident records and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with network service providers and other parties on production support.
• Work in shift rotations (24×7 operations).
• Handle ITIL-based service management (incidents, changes, requests).
• Support security monitoring and governance compliance activities.
