Job summary

Trend Up Investment (HK) Limited is seeking an experienced sales trader to execute US stock trades from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM Hong Kong time, ensuring precise execution and timely post-market records.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance/Economics/Statistics, 3+ years in sales trading, familiarity with Wind and Bloomberg, and holding or eligibility for SFC Type 1, 4 and 9 licenses. Night shift and strong communication are essential.

Trend Up Investment is an SFC 1, 4, and 9 licensed corporation with virtual assets licenses uplifted. Our team consists of seasoned investment experts in the areas of virtual assets and traditional assets portfolio management and investment analysis. We invite experienced and competent professionals to join our team.

Job Duties

Execute US stock trading orders accurately and efficiently to ensure timely and precise transactions.

Compile, verify and file daily trading records post-market to guarantee full integrity of transaction documentation.

Monitor and analyse trading results and market conditions, identify and report potential risks in a timely manner, and assist with risk control implementation.

Keep abreast of market developments and provide trading ideas, strategic advice and research support to fund managers.

Perform other ad-hoc trading support duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related fields; Master’s degree is preferred.

At least 3 year working experience in sales trading, preferably from top-tier brokerage or investment bank

Available to work from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM (US market trading hours).

Familiar with financial terminals including Wind and Bloomberg and institutional dealing workflows.

Possess sharp market insight, solid risk awareness and excellent learning capability.

Licence Requirement: Hold or be eligible to obtain SFC Type 1, Type 4 and Type 9 licences for regulated activities.

Meticulous, responsible and result-driven, with strong communication skills and team spirit.

Night shift experience and availability is a must
