Job summary

King Deux is seeking a Night Execution Trader to manage discretionary trading strategies on US equities and derivatives during night hours. You will monitor market conditions, analyze opportunities, and work closely with the investment team to ensure compliant, high-quality executions.

King Deux is partnering with a family office backed investment manager rooted in Hong Kong for the expansion of its trading team. We are looking for a night shift US Equities Trader to join the investment team.

About your role

Execute and manage discretionary trading strategies on US equities and derivatives during night shift hours, ensuring efficient transactions and adherence to investment mandates.

Monitor market conditions, analyze trading opportunities, and respond quickly to real-time events for optimal execution.

Maintain close communication with the portfolio manager and investment team, providing updates, insights, and recommendations.

Record, reconcile, and document all trades accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Assist in risk management and coordinate with brokers and counterparties to maximize execution quality.

What you will need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum 3 years of trading experience, with proven expertise on US markets; buy-side experience and exposure to family office or multi-asset platforms is a plus.

Strong understanding of US market structure, trading platforms, and risk management principles.

Ability to work independently and thrive during night/US market hours in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
