Job summary

TF International Securities' Global Markets Institutional Brokerage desk in Hong Kong seeks an experienced sales trader to cover HK, China Connect, Asia and US markets for institutional clients, delivering timely execution across low-touch and high-touch platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sales trading, strong client communication, and deep knowledge of OMS workflows; fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, with night shift availability to align with global sessions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working experience in sales trading.
• Proactive and outgoing personality with strong desire to communicate with clients and internal colleagues.
• Familiar with OMS and institutional dealing workflows, Broadridge UL Trader or similar.
• Must have algorithmic trading experience across HK, Asia and US equity markets.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Night shift experience and availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales trading and execution services for HK, China Connect, Asia and US markets to institutional clients.
• Execute trading with speed and accuracy according to strategy.
• Provide continuous and accurate market data to senior sales traders.
• Generate daily trading summaries and dealer-related reports.
• Assist in optimizing trading systems and workflows to improve performance/cost ratio.
• Communicate with sales, IT, and settlement on ad hoc projects.

Job description

The sales trading desk at Institutional Brokerage business of the Global Markets in TF International is a global sales trading desk covering cash equities and other instruments (swaps, futures) across time zones. We offer clients with trading ideas and access to the markets around the world. The desk provides correct candidates the most space to realize their professional market-related ambitions and best balance between sales and trading.

Responsibilities:

• Provide sales trading and execution services for Hong Kong, China Connect, Asia and US market (both low-touch and high-touch) to institutional clients in accordance with all regulatory and internal requirements
• Fast and accuracy trading according to strategy required
• Provide continuous and accurate market data to senior sales traders to facilitate trading activities
• Generate daily trading summary and dealer-related report
• Constantly help in optimizing trading systems and workflows to improve the performance/cost ratio of the desk
• Communicate with sales, IT, settlement to perform other ad hoc projects

Requirement

• At least 5 years working experience in sales trading, preferably from top-tier brokerage or investment bank
• Proactive and outgoing personality with strong desire to communicate with clients and internal colleagues
• Familiar with different OMS and institutional dealing workflows, preferred with Broadridge UL Trader or other institutional OMS
• Must having algorithmic trading experience dealing with Hong Kong, Asia and US equity markets
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Night shift experience and availability is a must
