Job summary

Qualcomm Semiconductor Limited is seeking a Testing Supervisor to lead test operators, ensuring timely testing with high quality, accuracy and safety. The role requires hands-on testing knowledge and the ability to train and develop testing personnel.

You will oversee daily tasks, enforce SOPs and safety standards, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues and improve testing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing operations for networking or communications products.
• Hands-on testing skills or ability to learn testing techniques and equipment quickly.
• Prior experience supervising or leading operators or technicians is preferred.
• Basic understanding of hardware testing, production flow, quality control, and failure analysis.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across engineering, quality, and production teams.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work under schedule/production pressure.
• Basic computer skills for test reporting, documentation, and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and assign daily testing tasks to test operators to meet production and project schedules.
• Ensure testing activities follow test procedures, SOPs, and safety requirements.
• Possess hands-on capability in testing networking/communication products or learn required techniques quickly.
• Support and participate in testing activities to troubleshoot issues and meet delivery commitments.
• Train new test operators and improve the skill level of existing staff through coaching.
• Monitor test results, identify failures, and collaborate with Engineering/Quality teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure proper execution of functional, system, and regression testing per product stages.
• Track daily testing progress, tester utilization, yield, and efficiency; report risks to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes and quality.
• Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment.
