Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary education or above in Computing or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in Network Engineering, System Administration, or IT Infrastructure.
• Strong, proven knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and Fortigate firewalls.
• Solid experience managing virtualization technologies (ESXi, Hyper‑V) and server environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash and/or PowerShell) for automation.
• Experience with system monitoring, log management, and OS hardening.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese).
• Knowledge of database management (MS SQL and MySQL) is an advantage.
• Experience with containerization software (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Network & Security Management: Administer and maintain Cisco networking equipment and Fortigate firewalls.
• Systems & Virtualization: Manage virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V), server operating systems, and storage solutions.
• Automation: Utilize Bash and PowerShell scripting to automate system management tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Projects & Collaboration: Act as a key technical resource for IT projects and incident management. Collaborate with other IT teams to seamlessly integrate infrastructure with applications and services.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure processes, configurations, and network changes.
