Job summary

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a senior network infrastructure engineer to drive design, delivery, and continual improvement across our global network. You will work with solution architects, IT strategy teams, and vendors to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure aligned with business needs.

You will lead lifecycle changes, manage risks, and apply emerging technologies to support Cathay’s mission of keeping people connected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree and at least 6 years of IT experience, with 3+ years in IT infrastructure.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders across complex IT environments.

Responsibilities

Job description

Drive the design, delivery, support, and continual improvement of Cathay's network infrastructure, helping ensure critical technology platforms are secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs. Working within the Digital Workplace & Network team, you'll apply deep technical expertise across network engineering, cloud connectivity, security, change management, and operational support while contributing to the evolution of the broader infrastructure landscape.

You'll work across both strategic and operational initiatives, partnering with solution architects, IT strategy teams, project managers, vendors, and technology specialists to deliver infrastructure solutions throughout their lifecycle. From supporting multi-cloud environments and cloud-to-premise connectivity to managing network changes, resolving incidents, and identifying opportunities for innovation, you'll help balance technical excellence with business outcomes.

Your work will directly support the technology foundations that enable Cathay's people, operations, and customers to stay connected, contributing to a wider mission of moving people forward in life.

Requirements
