Job summary

Cutfield Freeman & Co. Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking an additional analyst to work with Directors and global teams on M&A and financing mandates.

You will join a fast-paced boutique with exposure to high-profile transactions and cross-border deals. The role involves preparing materials, managing due diligence, building financial models and drafting documentation, while liaising with clients and advisors across regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in investment banking; M&A experience preferred.
• Master's Degree in finance or related discipline; strong academic record preferred.
• Fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of M&A and financing mandates to high quality.
• Prepare marketing materials, manage due diligence, conduct data analysis, build financial models and draft transaction documentation.
• Perform valuation analyses, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables and precedent transactions.
• Provide analytical and research support to the Directors, and produce presentations, proposals and pitchbooks of a consistently high standard.
• Liaise with clients, counterparties and third-party advisors on transaction-related matters.
• Travel to mainland China and overseas as required, in support of roadshows, meetings, due diligence, and commercial negotiation.
