Job summary

Polymer Capital in Hong Kong is offering a summer internship focused on trade support and fund operations. You will assist trading desks and the Middle Office with trade bookings, matching, and investigations, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced finance environment.

You'll collaborate with brokers and fund administrators, develop strong Excel and VBA skills, and learn how to resolve commission-related breaks while supporting a dynamic team at a premier financial firm in the heart of Hong

Qualifications

• Strong interest in the finance industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good attention to details.
• Positive and proactive mindset with good problem solving skills.
• Strong excel & VBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trade support to the trading desks and the wider Middle Office team.
• Perform fund operations including trade bookings, trade matching, failed trade investigations, and commission break investigation.
• Liaises with executing brokers, prime brokers, and fund administrator on commission related breaks.
