Job summary

Polymer Capital is seeking a junior Quant Trade Support to monitor live quantitative trading strategies and order execution workflows in a 24x5 shift environment from our Hong Kong office. You will verify orders, assist in post-trade review, and help develop simple monitoring tools to improve operational efficiency.

The role suits candidates with a strong technical or analytical foundation who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn trading operations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a 24x5 shift-based environment.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Interest in quantitative trading, trading operations, or electronic trading support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live quantitative trading strategies in a 24x5 shift rotation.
• Check that orders are generated correctly and handled properly by execution systems and brokers.
• Identify and escalate trading or system issues in a timely manner.
• Support post-trade review and follow-up actions with the manager.
• Help maintain monitoring procedures, logs, and support documentation.
• Assist in analyzing issues and trading behavior.
• Develop and maintain simple support tools, scripts, and monitoring utilities to help streamline operations.
• Work closely with the strategy development team to understand the behavior and trading style of different strategies
